This course will prepare school leaders to assume roles as effective instructional leaders by implementing evidence-based practices in schoolwide management and improvement within a standards-based environment. Emphasis will be placed on managing curriculum and assessment in alignment with P-20 standards, supporting educator effectiveness thorough professional development and coaching, and supporting diverse students and families through tiered systems and responsive practices that honor diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).
