SOC 348 - Women and Crime

This course will address the role women play as criminals, victims, and professionals in the criminal justice system. This course will examine the important intersection between gender and crime, exploring the nature and extent of womens involvement in the criminal justice system. The course will investigate and discuss the relationship between victimization and offending, and study the unique way women are involved in and impacted by the criminal justice system, with case study examples from real crimes.
