SPAN 295 - Spanish Phonetics and Syntax

This course serves as an introduction to the study of the Spanish sound system and its syntactic structures. It also includes a brief background of the history and development of the Spanish language, as well as discussion of dialectal differences across the globe. English/Spanish contrasts will be examined, through transcription exercises and the analysis of written and spoken language.
